Japanese Type 90 Naval Landing Forces helmet. Here is a very nice example as shown with a fouled anchor (an anchor wrapped in rope), featuring a small cherry blossom insignia in olive brown paint finish. The liner shows a very nice large name translated “Kobayashi” and appears to be a large size Helmet by Kobe steel and is complete with full length chinstraps. Fine addition for your Pacific theatre collection. COA accompanies.
