Outstanding, Early SS-Verfügungstruppe (SS-VT) M34 overseas cap, manufactured in the field-grey wool and remaining in very good, lightly-worn condition, with some use/wear as shown. The front retains the Totenkopf button, a feature of this early SS-VT headgear. The button is marked RZM SS 63 and is secured to the cap as shown. The side of cap is absent of eagle insignia with the remnants of ghost stitching which is easily identifiable.
The interior retains its original beige/tan cotton lining and shows the characteristic manufacturer marking associated with Clemens Wagner, together with the visible size 57 marking. Overall, this is a very attractive example of a hard-to-find early SS-VT M34 overseas cap. COA accompanies.
