This is an outstanding example of an M43 Cap for Waffen-SS panzer. The wool body is excellent quality, with dark grey ribbed rayon lining, size marked 56 1/2. The skull and eagle are very nicely zig-zag applied, and show gentle ivory toning indicating age patina. Two bakelite button front, with buckram welt incorporated into the inner scallop seam. An outstanding example, ready for the top SS collection. COA accompanies.
